Tuna, Wahoo, Grouper, Snapper, as well as sailfish, are options. You can keep what you catch, although we encourage a catch and release approach for all game fish. We take pictures, so you can have your gamefish souvenir, without killing.

Captain Jack and New Moon Sportfishing specialize in offshore deep sea fishing using live bait to catch big game, open water fish such as billfish (swordfish, marlin and sailfish), larger tunas (bluefin, yellowfin, and bigeye), Atlantic Tarpon and sharks (mako, great white, tiger, hammerhead and other large species).
Our deep sea fishing is conducted from our three boats – 53′ Hatteras, 50′ Custom Carolina and 30′ Crusader sport fishing boat.
Smaller game fish we love to catch bluewater fishing are Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Grouper, Snapper, smaller tuna species such as Skipjack tuna and Barracuda.

Just another day out at sea. We caught a beautiful Sailfish for one of our customers on a half day charter. We *released this amazing sea creature back in the ocean, but we couldn’t resist taking a quick photo of him first!
*Catch and release is a practice within big game fishing intended as a technique of conservation. After capture, the fish are unhooked and returned to the water before experiencing serious exhaustion or injury.
